Winter Forum
Dates: February 3-4, 2011
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Winter Forum is a meeting, usually held in late January or early February, of Chapter leaders of a Region coming together to review the past year's efforts, and to discuss and plan for the upcoming year. All members of your Chapter's Board of Directors and committee chairs are invited as well as members who wish to become involved in the operations of the Region or Chapter. Region officers are elected here. Donations to the education foundation are made at this time. Announcements of Chapter activities that may be of interest to all are made. We meet on the afternoon of the first day and the morning of the second to give those who can drive in to get there and back without extra days off. A class to benefit the Region is coordinated for the day before the Forum meetings begin. The location of the next Forum is voted on at the end of this meeting.

Fall Refresher Seminar in College Station
The Fall Refresher Seminar is held in College Station usually in early to mid August. It consists of a day and a half of meetings and seminars and provides attendees with continuing education credits. Held at Texas A&M College, a Regional meeting is held the morning of the first day with seminars in the afternoon. Be sure and find the ice cream with all of the toppings on the afternoon break. The second day consists of seminars in the morning and a debriefing luncheon for Chapter Presidents and Vice Presidents along with the Region officers and Housman and Associates in the afternoon. A golf tournament is held the day before the seminar begins with the Region Chair reception that night. Challenges revolving around the prowess of our golfers are often found here, also. Educational courses are also held the day before the seminar to benefit the Region. All IRWA members of Region 2 are invited to attend and participate in the activities.

For more information about these events, contact your Chapter officers or any of the Region officers. There are many opportunities for education, networking, and relaxation for all who wish to participate.
